How to verify supplier claims
  • Verified

A supporting quote on the supplier’s own website, found in a stored copy of that page. A quote on their own site.

Next · Read the quote and its source

  • Claimed

A claim in a search result or directory, without a supporting first-party quote. Said in a directory, not by them.

Next · Look for their own page

  • Unknown

No evidence found. Ordren keeps the gap visible and never guesses. Becomes an RFQ question.

Next · It becomes an RFQ question

  • Not met

A stored quote contradicts your requirement. Their page contradicts it.

    Next · Deprioritize the supplier

It does the reading. You get the record.

  2. 2

    Check Check

It finds candidates, reads 3 to 5 pages of each one’s own site, and labels every must-have with the sentence that supports it. It reads 3 to 5 pages of each supplier’s own site.

06 — Questions

Questions buyers ask first.

What is Ordren?

Ordren is an AI search tool for finding suppliers and professionals. You describe what you need in plain language. Ordren finds candidates, reads their own websites, and labels each requirement Verified, Claimed, Unknown or Not met, with the quote and the page. You get a ranked shortlist and an RFQ draft.

How is this different from a supplier directory?

A directory lists companies and lets each one describe itself. Ordren starts from your requirements, reads each candidate’s own pages, and shows the sentence that supports or contradicts each one. A claim that only appears in a listing is marked Claimed, and what cannot be found stays Unknown and becomes a question in your RFQ draft.

Does Ordren contact suppliers for me?

No. Ordren drafts the message and you send it from your own email. It never contacts a supplier or candidate on its own, and it does not place orders or make payments.

What happens when nothing can be verified?

It stays visible. A requirement with no evidence is marked Unknown, never guessed, and a candidate whose pages could not be read is marked “not assessed” rather than matched. Every unknown for a shortlisted supplier becomes a question in the RFQ, so the first email you send asks exactly what the research could not confirm.

Can it find people as well as suppliers?

Yes. Switch the brief from Suppliers to People to find individual professionals, such as a fractional controller or a packaging engineer. Requirements are checked against public pages and profiles in the same way, and what cannot be confirmed becomes a question in an outreach draft you send yourself. People results are not consumer reports and may not be used to decide anyone’s eligibility for employment, credit, insurance or housing.

What do you read, and what do you store?

Ordren reads publicly available pages on each candidate’s own website: 3 pages each on Standard, 5 on Deep. Search results and directory listings can only ever support a Claimed label. It keeps a copy of each page it quotes, so you can open the source behind every Verified label. Your projects are visible only to you, unless you create a share link.
